Château Micalet
Haut-Médoc, 2018

Haut-Médoc

€39.50

750ml Bottle

A classic Haut-Médoc produced with a high proportion of Petit Verdot, one of Bordeaux’s lesser-known red grape varieties. Gentle crème de cassis, stone fruits and coffee notes along with toasted accents. An utterly charming medium-bodied wine aged in oak for 12 months. The balance, the fresh acidity and the suggestion of sweet fruits on the palate make this Château Micalet extremely enjoyable now.

Château Micalet

Château Micalet has 7 hectares of vineyards led by Fédieu family located in the Haut-Médoc. The soils are maintained by cultural practices and without using chemical weed killers. In order to preserve the “terroir” the vineyard was converted to organic agriculture (AB) and was certified in 2008.
